Q: Can I attach additional Riders to my LifeSave Plus Plan?
A: No, LifeSave Plus is a packaged plan and cannot be attached with additional Riders. LifeSave Plus is composed of our Vanguard 100 with the following Mandatory Riders: Accident & Health, Hospital Income Benefit, Waiver of Premium Plus and Yield Enhancer. Lifeline Riders are optional for LifeSave Plus Accumulator and Optimizer plans.
Q: After 20 years, do I really get back all the premiums I paid for?
A: If your mode of payment is annually, yes, you will get back all the premiums you paid. However, if your mode of payment is semi-annually or quarterly, you will only get back the equivalent total annual premiums paid.
Q: If I become permanently disabled on the 10th year, do I still have to complete my premium payments for the remaining 10 years? What will happen to the premium payments I made during the first 10 years?
A: In case you become permanently disabled on the 10th year, all future premium payments will be waived. The premium payments you have made during the first 10 years will be returned to you at the end of the 20-year prescribed pay period.
Q: I’m already 53 years old and no longer eligible to avail of the Accident & Health Rider, but I really want to get a LifeSave Plus policy. Can I still avail of a plan?
A: Yes, you can still avail of a LifeSave Plus policy. However, your plan will not include the Accident and Health Rider.
